The current Community Council, which consists of five members, was constituted under its new constitution on January 1st 2007. In March 2007 it designed and adopted a logo with St Antonios church behind barbwire. It also assigned a Cultural representative to facilitate the promotion of its activities and projection of the village to the media.
The Community Council participates and organizes /co-organizes the following events:
- Yearly assemblies (Festival)
- Blood donation
- Representation in events against the Turkish invasion
- Representation in Congresses and meetings
- Projection of the village through the Media with newspaper and magazine articles, announcements and interviews.

Doctor of Sociology, with his first degree in Economics, has a Managerial position in a Shipping Company. He is married with three children and resides in Anthoupolis. He is one of the first founding members and first Chairman of the Massari Sports Union (ΑΕΜ) (1991-2006), and now has been named an honorary Chair by the new AEM Committee. He is a President of the Council of “Occupied Communities of Nicosia Region” , member of the Council of the Cypriot Studies Company and member of Cyprus Sociologist Association. He has published three books and writes regularly articles in the daily press.

With an MA in Business Administration and a first degree in Teaching English as a foreign language, she holds an Officers position at the University of Cyprus. She is married, has three children and resides in Anthoupolis. She is a member of the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association and a member of the Alumni Henley Management Association. She served as a council member of the Massari Sports Association (AEM) (1991-2000). She is co-writer of a book and has been the Editor for three other publications, she regularly writes articles in the daily press, mainly for the activities of the Community Council.
