In collaboration with the Massari Athletic Association (AEM), a blood bank has been established, with donations taking place on the first Wednesday of June on a yearly basis.  The Community Council also participates in “Eleftherio” football tournament that is organized every year in the month of March.  

The Community Council in collaboration with AEM, also organizes the Annual Community Get-together which takes place yearly on St Antonios day, January 17th.  Usually the celebration takes place after the evening holly ceremony (January 16th) or the weekend before or after.   The ritual ceremonies in the evening of January 16th and in the morning of January 17th are held at the small old chapel of St Antonios in PeristeronaVillage.  The villagers of Massari, wish to express their sincere gratitude to the Community Council and the Church Authorities of Peristerona for their hospitality. 

Announcements for all events are published in the daily press, announced through the media and printed invitations are dispatched via post.  The Annual Community Get-together celebration is supported by the Morfou Metropolis by representation at the event and is partially funded by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 

The Community Council and AEM with their delegation participate each year in the March of Morfou, organized by the Morfou Municipality.  At this event a photo exhibition is prepared by the occupied communities of Morfou area and delegations with flags march to the barricade in order to lodge a written demand to the United Nations for justice and the return of their properties.
